The Man Who Walks Backwards
Recently I helped out my friend Stephen Hosier, a Toronto based director capture the story of Marty Verlaan, a man diagnosed with schizophrenia.
While I was just an extra set of hands while I wasn’t taking production stills, I am incredibly proud to have been a part of the process. I could go on to explain the story, I would rather you take the time to watch the film and experience it first hand.
What I can say is that working with Marty was truly an eye-opening experience. He is a kind-hearted man who is just trying to navigate life while dealing with schizophrenia. Thank you, Marty, for letting your story be told.
It is always a pleasure to be on set with Stephen and I look forward to seeing where his directing journey takes him.
